Jack Point (Trevor Burton) and Elsie Maynard (Helen Pearce) are introduced to the villagers.



Leonard Meryll (Anthony Pearce) joins in the plot to save Fairfax


The Lieutenant of the Tower (Steve Holmes) asks Elsie to marry a man she has never seen.


Sergeant Meryll (David Arnold) passes Colonel Fairfax (Chris Steed) off as his son, Leonard



Strange Adventure. Dame Carruthers (Dorothy Pearce) and her niece, Kate (Hannah Long) tell the Sergeant and Fairfax what Elsie has been saying in her sleep.



Tell a tale of Cock and Bull. 
Shadbolt (Paul Gooch) and Jack Point hatch a plan to get them both out of trouble



A Man who would Woo a Fair Maid. Phoebe Meryll (Suzanne Long), Fairfax and Elsie teach Jack how to woo.


Phoebe has to succumb to Shadbolt's advances  to keep her family's scheming a secret


Elsie realises she is still married to Fairfax and she wants to get married to Leonard. She doesn't realise that they are one and the same person!



The reunited couple live happily ever after.

Hopefully none of the audience noticed that Elsie was already 7 months pregnant!
